Rochester City School District needed a system to support the coordination of volunteers for one or more events at East High School.  The initial use of the system was  for expansion of Akee Allen’s “Project Parent Participation” initiative, but will eventually be available for use in any other volunteer coordination scenario within the school.

BizWonk created a website that provided an easy way for event coordinators to set up events and monitor volunteer allocation, and for parent and community volunteers to sign up for various time slots. The system made use of volunteers within the school an easy thing to publicize and coordinate.
